Talaguira fishing season

As the fishing season is almost over for this year just a small recap on how things worked out. To say it has been only my first full season at Talaguira the results have gone really well. All in all I've achieved four wins, three 2nd places and four 3rd places. Hopefully next season i can improve on it as i have had more practice this year on the venue and feel on top of it now. Strangely i have only drawn one peg all season on the matches that i actually fancied so i feel with better luck at the drawbag i can be a bigger success. Had some great weights in the four hour timespans going up to 140 lbs. Also to finish my year on a real high i will be sponsored for next year by a UK fishing company. Happy days.

"Lazy Bloggers"

Hello everyone !!!

Well it's been a good time since we last did a post! I am afraid there are no excuses other than we have just been plain lazy!!!!

We did have a lovely summer and made the most of it by using the local river beaches and socialising which really does take up a lot of your time!!!! However now the winter months have set it you find yourself with more time to spare cosying next to the log burner which is going to be the subject of our next post so look out for that one soon.

Just in case Christmas should come before the next blog we would like to wish all our readers a Very Merry Christmas and a healthy, prosperous and Happy New Year. Boas Festas

Our new arrival

On our return back home to our beloved portugal we had decided to acquire a new addition to the family,so we our now the proud owners of "Millie" our new puppy.
Hope we don,t regret it!!!!!.
At the moment she is a real lively bundle and will no doubt be a bit of a challenge to us as we have never owned a dog before, but she is adorable so far only time will tell because no doubt before long she will be into anything and everything!!!.

THE FINAL FEW FROM OZ PROMISE!!!!

Hope we are not boring our viewers.

More pics of oz

Just a few more pics of australia, i will have to limit the amount we can post or else we could be here for weeks on end as we took so many.

DOWN UNDER IN STRAYA.

Hi everyone we know it,s been a while since we last updated the blog but we have been on the holiday of a lifetime to australia. We left portugal on the 11th of january and returned on the 22nd february, around six weeks and toured from sydney up the east coast taking in the sights of byron bay surfers paradise and then up the gold coast to stay with our dearest portuguese friends in north shore and brisbane.
Starting in sydney we had three weeks of sightseeing and what an awesome city it is absolutely wonderful,hardly enough time to fit everything in there is so much on offer.A few pics to whet your appetite;

Talaguira fishing

Just a quick little post of a practice session at talaguira in mid november. I fished for four hours and caught 35 kilos of mainly carp with a few crucians.Around 10 kilo of the fish were caught fishing the pole at 13 metres, with the rest of the fish caught in the margins at 6 metres, all of the fish were caught using corn and wheat fished over groundbait.Next season i will be posting monthly reviews and results of the competitions until then tight lines and good fishing.
